Abstract
결론
광범위한 치과 치료를 요하나 행동 조절이 어려워 통상의 치과 치료를 받을 수 없었던 42
명의 치과적 장애인을 대상으로 외래 전신 마취하의 치과 치료를 시행한 결과 다음의 결론
을 얻었다.
1. 치과 치료에 소요된 시간은 평균 2시간 1분이었으며 환자 일인당 9.52개의 치아를 치료하
여 치료의 효율이 높았다.
2. 회복 관찰에 소요된 시간은 평균 3시간 14분이었으며 술후 심각한 후유증 없이 회복되었
다.
3. 대상 환자 선정이 적절할 경우 외래 전신마취는 치과적 장애인의 치료에 적합한 행동조
절방법이라고 사료된다.

42 dentally handicapped patients who require general dental treatments but behavioral
managements had been an obstacle to proper treatment were chosen and the author
conducted dental treatment under outpatient general anesthesia. Following are the
conclusions.
1. The average time for the treatment procedure was 2 hours and 1 minute and the
average of 9.52 teeth were treated for individual patient indicating its high efficiency.
2. The average time for the recovery was 3 hours and 14 minutes and none of the
patients showed any specific serious complications.
3. Treatments under outpatient general anesthesia can be a proper patient management
method for the dentally handicapped patients if the patient selection is proper.
